The Distinguished Young Woman of Oregon for 2020 is Brighid Rickman, from Roseburg.

Brighid’s achievements include: Two-time Douglas County Prep Athlete of the Week • RHS Swim Team Most Outstanding 2018, 2019; Most Inspirational, 2020 • Presidential Scholarships to Oregon State Univ and Univ of Alabama • Evening of Excellence Awards- Science 2017, Social Studies 2019 • District Champion 100Y Freestyle, 2019 • Swim Team Record Holder and Oregon Top 5 Swimming Time • Four-time Academic Feather recipient • Nominated for and attended Stanford Emergency Medicine Summer Camp • High School PRIDE Awards - Involved, Determined, Encouraging • Future First Citizen Finalist (winner tba)
